Description of 1-60 Ratchet

First released in the UX-01 Dran Buster 1-60A Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on March 30th, 2024, 1-60 (or One Sixty) is a Ratchet from the Beyblade X generation.

The number “1” refers to the number of protrusions along the Ratchet’s perimeter, which means that 1-60 has 1 large protrusion. In Beyblade X, Ratchets protrusions are usually acting as weak points for burst attacks. Sometimes, these protrusions can act as secondary contact points, which is the case with One Sixty.

This Ratchet can be aligned in two different positions on any Beyblade X Blade, therefore players may want to check both to see which one they like the most.

Additionally, 1-60 features the largest protrusion on any Ratchet, making it a preferred choice in attack type combinations.

1-60 Ratchet Height

The number “60” refers to the Ratchet height, which in this case is 6 mm. This height is considered as “low”, meaning that this Ratchet can be used to easily strike opponents from below. Furthermore, the “60” height Ratchets have weaker locks than the “80” height Ratchets. However, the lower Ratchet being harder to strike, the lower height slightly mitigates this issue.

Final Thoughts

9-60 is a versatile Ratchet, which can be used in any type of combinations. With only 3 small blades (barely 4mm wide) this Ratchet highly mitigates burst risk, making it safer than 3-60 and 4-60.
