Description of Arc

First released in the CX-02 Wizard Arc R4-55LO Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line on March 29th, 2025, Arc is a right-spin stamina type Blade.

Arc has two large Blades, whose shape can be reminiscent of Wizard Arrow, the first Bey in the Wizard line. Both blades tend to leave a small gap between Arc and the Assist Blade, making an Arc combination prone to destabilization when struck in that gap.

Additionally, Custom Line Main Blades are significantly taller than regular Blades, exposing the Ratchet a bit more, thus increasing Burst risk. The taller height of the CX Blades also means they are easier to destabilize, a key gameplay aspect of Beyblade X.

However, while the lower the better is the usual rule of thumb in Beyblade X, Arc performed much better in stamina matchups when used in tall combinations during our testing sessions. When used at a standard height, Arc tends to struggle, even against combinations such as Hells Scythe 9-60 Ball, one of the early competitive stamina combos in Beyblade X, back in 2023.

When used at a taller height, with taller Ratchets and/or Bits, Assist Blades such as Round or Turn will become the primary contact point of the combination, which seems to help Arc retain stamina. A taller height will make an Arc combination prone to Burst against attack type combinations, but it seems to help overall performances in stamina match-ups.

Final Thoughts

While Arc is a decent stamina type Main Blade, it seems to be outclassed by Blades such as Wizard Rod, Silver Wolf, or Scorpio Spear.
