Description of Emperor
First released with Emperor Might HOp in the CX-11 Emperor Might Deck Set as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line system on November 1st, 2025, Emperor is a Lock Chip.
Lock Chips, as their name suggests, are the part that holds Custom Line Blades in place. Players can lock and unlock the Blade by turning any Bit inside the Lock Chip.
Lock Chips are usually nearly identical in shape, size and weight. Therefore, they do not affect overall performances. However, just like Valkyrie, Emperor features a metal part, increasing its weight significantly, albeit slightly lighter than Valkyrie. It is also slightly taller than regular Lock Chips.
Emperor is approximately 3 grams heavier than standard Lock Chips. The added weight in the center of the Beyblade improves Inward Weight Distribution, which mainly increases Defense potential as a result. However, it also increases Stamina and stability.
At the time of writing, this makes Emperor a perfect alternative to Valkyrie in the most popular Custom Line combination, Valkyrie/Emperor Blast Wheel 9-60 Free Ball/Wall Ball.
It is worth noting that in official tournaments, competitive players can only use 1 copy of Valkyrie in their Deck. However, players can use both Valkyrie and Emperor in their Deck.
