Description of 1-80 Ratchet
First released with Shinobi Shadow 1-80MN from the UX-05 Random Booster Shinobi Shadow Select as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on May 18th, 2024, 1-80 (or One Eighty) is a Ratchet from the Beyblade X generation.
The number “1” refers to the number of protrusions along the Ratchet’s perimeter, which means that 1-80 has 1 large protrusion. In Beyblade X, Ratchets protrusions are usually acting as weak points for burst attacks.
However, these protrusions can also act as secondary contact points, which is the case with One Eighty.
This Ratchet can be aligned in two different positions on any Beyblade X Blade, therefore players may want to check both to see which one they like the most.
Additionally, 1-80 features the largest protrusion on any Ratchet, making it a preferred choice in attack type combinations, although it is used in various combinations types in Beyblade X official tournaments.
1-80 Ratchet Height
The number “80” refers to the Ratchet height, which in this case is 8 mm. This height is considered as “tall”, meaning that this Ratchet can be easily struck from below. Furthermore, “80” height Ratchets have stronger locks than the “50”, “60” and “70” height Ratchets. However, “80” Ratchets are still easier to strike and Burst due to their increased height.
