Description of Metal Needle
First released with Shinobi Shadow 1-80MN from the UX-05 Random Booster Shinobi Shadow Select as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on May 18th, 2024, Metal Needle (or MN) is a defense type Bit.
Metal Needle features a conical, sharp tip made of metal. The shape of the tip usually results in a docile, controllable stationary behavior, making the combination steady in the middle of the stadium. This behavior allows the player to launch the combo with force and confidence without necessarily hitting the X-Line.
Furthermore, the metal tip creates very low levels of friction, thus increasing stamina potential. However, the conical shape of Metal Needle typically results in the combination tilting over and wobbling fairly quickly. Therefore, MN combinations are easier to destabilize and knock-out.
Moreover, this Bit can damage Xtreme Stadiums, denting the stadium floor, even when launched from a normal height. If launched from a higher height, the risk of damaging the Stadium is further increased.
Therefore, the use of Metal Needle cannot be recommended.
Final Thoughts
Due to the fact that the sharp metal tip of Metal Needle can damage Stadiums, this Bit can be recommended for collection purposes only.
