Description of Orochi Cluster
First released with the UX-00 Booster Orochi Cluster 6-60LF as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on January 21st, 2026, Orochi Cluster is a right-spin Attack type Blade.
Unique Line Blades feature resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This is meant to increase Outward Weight Distribution, a trait that significantly improves stamina and attack potential.
Unique Line Beyblades also have a gimmick, usually based on all components synergy. Orochi Cluster is meant to create “poisonous strikes” in order to destabilise the opposing Beyblade, or deliver powerful Smash Attacks. The “poisonous strikes” gimmick is in reality Barrage Attacks created by the 8 Orochi heads around Orochi Cluster Perimeter.
Indeed, Orochi Cluster features 8 main contact points, creating a compact, octagonal shape. Despite the Blade’s small profile, it remains relatively heavy, weighing in at nearly 37 grams.
First of all, despite having numerous contact points, they are quite massive, enabling this Blade to retain formidable attack power and a solid Knock Out potential that threatens even the most optimized combos in the current metagame.
Secondly, the contact points have different angles, featuring a succession of upward and downward slopes. This design concept, which is quite common in Beyblade X, is intended to help destabilize the opposing combo.
In Orochi Cluster’s case, this design works incredibly well, as it is capable of destabilizing optimized competitive combos, sometimes quite brutally. In fact, after just 2 or 3 hits from this Blade, the opposing combination can find itself completely tilted, wobbling until it loses all of its spin.
Furthermore, despite its small size, Orochi Cluster manages to maintain decent stamina, which is enough to give it time to capitalize on its destabilization potential.
Unfortunately, as is often the case in Beyblade X, Orochi Cluster’s uneven and bumpy perimeter leads to somewhat chaotic results. This Blade can suffer from its own recoil, finding itself caught in destabilizing phases as well.
Thus, while its offensive potential makes it a genuine asset in a competitive environment, Orochi Cluster is by no means a meta-breaking Blade like Shark Scale or Aero Pegasus were upon release.
Final Thoughts
In conclusion, despite being chaotic in both its style and its on-table performance, Orochi Cluster is an excellent Blade that allows the ‘Barrage’ playstyle to exist in the current metagame.
Unfortunately, its rarity and very high price tag at the moment mean we cannot recommend it as a must-have.
