Description of Glory Valkyrie

First released with UX-20 Starter Glory Valkyrie LF as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line Expand Blade (or Infinity) system on July 11th, 2026, Glory Valkyrie is a right-spin Integrated Ratchet Attack type Blade.

Unique Line Blades feature resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This is meant to increase Outward Weight Distribution, a trait that significantly improves stamina and attack potential. 

Furthermore, Unique Line Expand Blade (or Infinity) Beyblades have an additional gimmick : a Ratchet integrated Blade.

Additionally, the Ratchet Integrated Blade features a spring-loaded gimmick known as “Bound Attack” in the Beyblade Burst generation. Glory Valkyrie’s gimmick is identical to that of God Valkyrie, which was released in the God Layer System during Beyblade Burst.

This Blade features a triangular shape with downward-sloping contact points, creating high smash attack potential. Additionally, it incorporates a plastic section on its underside in place of a standard Ratchet; this integrated design means it cannot be repositioned or unlocked, as it forms an inherent part of the Blade itself.

Although this part cannot be detached from the upper section of the Blade, Bursts remain possible through a “Bit Release”: the Bit can disengage and separate from the combo, resulting in a Burst Finish. Just like with traditional Ratchets, Stamina, Defense, or any other non-burst-resistant Bits lacking an expanded shaft will release more easily than Attack or Balance-type Bits with a thick shaft.

Regarding the gimmick, it features a “bound attack” mechanism: the outer metallic perimeter of the Blade compresses the spring to the left upon contact, before snapping back to the right under the spring’s tension. This gimmick is intended to amplify Glory Valkyrie’s raw attack power.

However, as Bladers experienced back in the Beyblade Burst era with God Valkyrie—which shared an identical mechanism—this spring-loaded feature actually reduced overall attack power, as the Blade yielded during impact by rotating around its central axis. At the time, Takara Tomy eventually released the Strike God Chip, a component designed to lock the Layer in place and effectively nullify the gimmick.

With Glory Valkyrie, things differ slightly due to the Blade being made of metal rather than plastic, serving as the primary source of rotational inertia. Consequently, by compressing against the direction of rotation, the mechanism acts as a brake on rotational inertia, significantly lowering RPM with every collision. As a result, the stamina loss after each collision is massive, bringing Glory Valkyrie down to a stamina level equivalent to, or even lower than, Dran Strike—despite the latter having been released as part of the Basic Line Infinity.

Furthermore, because Glory Valkyrie’s outer perimeter is entirely metal—rather than absorbing shocks to act defensively as seen in Beyblade Burst—the spring mechanism causes Glory Valkyrie to be repelled with as much force as its own hits. This characteristic leads to a high rate of self-knockouts: a combo equipped with this Blade will suffer as many Over and Extreme Finishes as it inflicts.

Consequently, with relatively low stamina alongside violent yet unpredictable recoil, Glory Valkyrie is an extremely high-risk Blade, despite its outstanding offensive assets.

Additionally, this Blade possesses enough raw attack power to knock out any opposing Blade, including top-tier threats like Wizard Rod and Silver Wolf.

However, it is worth noting that due to the smash attack profile of its hits, Glory Valkyrie frequently drives opposing Blades downward, forcing them into the Xtreme Zone wall.

Furthermore, while the severe recoil can cause massive destabilization on opponents, Glory Valkyrie’s steep RPM drop prevents it from capitalizing on those openings.

Finally, players across various global communities have reported scraping issues that further degrade stamina. When paired with low-profile Bits like Low Rush, they report that the integrated plastic underside rubs against the stadium floor. While we did not observe this during our own testing, we wanted to include these community reports.

In our testing, drastic stamina drops occurred strictly following collisions that triggered the spring mechanism.

Final Thoughts

Although this Blade was subject to aggressive hype across Western social media—positioning Glory Valkyrie as a meta-defining game-changer—the data gathered from our testing does not support these claims.

Furthermore, feedback from the Asian competitive scene closely aligns with our conclusions : Glory Valkyrie is widely considered too risky and lacking in stamina to hold significant competitive value.

To nuance these findings, competitive Bladers may still occasionally run Glory Valkyrie in their decks. However, its usage is likely to remain niche, much like Dran Buster upon its initial release. In the current meta, opting for Glory Valkyrie offers a high probability of securing high-value Finishes, though it relies more on a high-stakes gamble than an optimized strategy.
