Description of 7-80 Ratchet
First released with the BX-39 Random Booster Shelter Drake Select as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on February 15th, 2025, 7-80 (or Seven Eighty) is a Ratchet from the Beyblade X generation.
This Ratchet features a overall circular shape with 7 sides, featuring a single protrusion that sticks out slightly.
Standing at 8mm tall, this makes it the tallest 7-height Ratchet at the time of writing.
7-80 is one of the heaviest Ratchets in Beyblade X. Its weight, along with its compact, circular shape, creates good Stamina potential. It also helps provide stability to the combo and increases Defense potential.
Currently, 80-height Ratchets see no play in official competitive tournaments. Despite all the strengths of this component, its high height leaves it significantly more vulnerable to Bursts.
As a result, while 7-60 quickly became a staple in competitive play, 7-80 is by no means essential for players solely focused on the meta.
