Description of Convert Forge Disc

First released with the B-150 Booster Union Achilles Convert Xtend+ Retsu on September 21st, 2019, Convert is a Forge Disc from the Gatinko Layer system.

This Forge Disc has a four-sided shape, featuring a non removable plastic part. Convert has a gimmick ; the plastic part can be moved to switch between two different modes : “Normal Mode” and “Imbalanced Mode”. The plastic piece features a small part made of metal, which allows players to change the weight distribution of the Forge Disc.

Therefore, the “Imbalanced Mode” features a weight distribution focused on one side of the Disc. Unfortunately, this results in overall poor performances, decreasing the stamina potential and stability of the combination.

Furthermore, four metal parts hang downwards on each side of the Disc, creating a scraping risk.

When it was released in 2019, Convert was one of the heaviest Forge Discs available. Its heavy weight made it a fairly popular option in attack type combinations. However, it has been heavily outclassed by several Forge Discs from the Superking, Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Collectors who want to use this Forge Disc with combinations from the Gatinko and Superking Layer system may want to pick tall Drivers to reduce the scraping risk.

Therefore, Convert is a great addition for players collecting and playing with models from the Gatinko Layer system.

However, this Forge Disc is now heavily outclassed and cannot be recommended for competitive players.
