Description of Brave

First released in the CX-01 Dran Brave S6-60V Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line system on March 29th, 2025, Brave is a right-spin Blade featuring a three-sided design.

Brave is a reference to Brave Valkyrie, and more specifically the Brave Superking Ring. It also has a similar design, with three main contact points slanting upwards, creating upper attack potential.

Since the Custom Line Main Blades have to accommodate for the Assist Blades, the contact points are thinner when compared to Attack type Blades from the Basic and the Unique Line, resulting in less raw attack power.

Additionally, Custom Line Main Blades are significantly taller than regular Blades, exposing the Ratchet a bit more, thus increasing Burst risk. The taller height of the CX Blades also means they are easier to destabilize, a key gameplay aspect of Beyblade X.

However, when Brave is combined with Assist Blades such as Slash, Charge or Turn, it is still able to Knock-Out and Burst many combinations equipped with Blades from the Basic and Unique Line, equipped with Blades usually weighing under 36 grams.

Brave will struggle a bit more against top tier options, such as Wizard Rod, Silver Wolf, Aero Pegasus, Scorpio Spear or Phoenix Wing.

Final Thoughts

Brave taller height and thin contact points may not be the best option for competitive players. However, collectors may gladly enjoy the customization options allowed by the Custom Line Blades.
