Description of Brush
First released with Fox Brush J9-70GR in the CX-06 Random Booster FoxBrush Select as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line on May 17th, 2025, Brush is a right-spin Attack type Main Blade.
It has an overall circular shape, featuring nine contact points on its perimeter. This design is meant to create Barrage attacks, continuous hits in rapid succession. These attacks do not have the raw attack power of traditional attack Blades, although the consecutive strikes can help to inflict damage on the opposing Bey’s Ratchet, often resulting in Burst Finishes.
Furthermore, these contact points are aligned in three different angles, mixing upper, downward, and horizontal attacks. This design is now fairly common design in Beyblade X, meant to destabilize the opposing Beyblade, a crucial mechanic in Beyblade X gameplay.
Additionally, these contact points all have a different size and weight, with one half of the Blade being hollowed, making Brush unbalanced. The lack of balance impedes on stamina, although it helps to create more mobility, making a Brush combination more mobile but also quite unpredictable at times.
Therefore, this Main Blade can create agressive behaviour patterns even when used with stationary Bits such as Wedge.
Furthermore, while Brush has great synergy with the Assist Blade Jaggy, options such as Turn, Charge or Slash can have decent results as well.
Additionally, Custom Line Main Blades are significantly taller than regular Blades, exposing the Ratchet a bit more, thus increasing Burst risk. The taller height of the CX Blades also means they are typically easier to destabilize.
Final Thoughts
While Brush can be used to create fun combinations, its lack of raw attack power and stamina makes it outclassed by top tier competitive Blades such as Aero Pegasus, Wizard Rod, Silver Wolf, or Scorpio Spear for example.
