Description of Clock Mirage 9-65B

Released with UX-16 Random Booster Clock Mirage Select as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on October 11th, 2025, Clock Mirage 9-65B is a right-spin Stamina type combination. All three models from this Random Booster have the same components, and come in three different colors : cyan, black, and red/purple yellow.

This Beyblade is a reference to one of Metal Fight Beyblade most iconic models ; Basalt Horogium (Twisted Tempo) 145 Wide Defense.

As all Unique Line models, this Beyblade features resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This further increases Outward Weight Distribution, a characteristic that significantly improves stamina and attack potential. 

Unique Line models also have a gimmick : Clock Mirage theme is high stamina/spin time, created by the design and unique features of the Blade, and further enhanced by the the Bit Ball.

In reality, at the time of writing Clock Mirage 9-65B is indeed the stock combination with the highest stamina potential.

It sits at a tall height, due to the tall plastic frame underneath the Blade Clock Mirage. Therefore, this Beyblade can comfortably beat the best Stamina type stock combinations. On the other hand, it will suffer from a high burst risk against attack type combinations. Clock Mirage Blade is so tall that it leaves the Ratchet completely exposed. Even 9-65 will burst easily against most of attack type Beyblades.

Clock Mirage 9-65 Ball is a Bey with obvious strengths and weaknesses, although its high Burst rate can be mitigated with a few changes.

How to Improve Clock Mirage

As mentioned above, stamina potential is so high with Clock Mirage that players will have a lot of freedom to modify the combination, in order to mitigate Burst risk. However, the Blade is only compatible with Ratchet featuring a “O” shaped lock, such as 9-65 or 4-55 for example.

Therefore, Ratchet choice is limited : at the time of writing, players willing to lower the height of the combination will have to use 4-55.

However, both Under Needle and Low Orb can be used to make the combination as low as possible in order to increase Burst resistance. Clock Mirage has a better Burst resistance with Under Needle, although Low Orb has better Knock-Out resistance. Please note that both combos, Clock Mirage 4-55UN and 4-55LO will still easily out spin Wizard Rod 9-60 Ball.

Overall, Clock Mirage is a good release, introducing a unique Blade with unmatched Stamina. Its tall height may make it difficult to use in a competitive environment, but its Stamina potential is so high that players will have to keep that component in mind when experimenting with top tier meta game combinations.

Even if the Blade Clock Mirage doesn’t find practical use in future tournaments, it could very well be a deterrent against the usual safe Stamina combinations sitting at a standard height.

Therefore, in our opinion this Beyblade can be considered as a must have in any Beyblade X collection.
