Description of Unite

First released with BX-33 Booster Weiss Tiger 3-60U as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on June 15th, 2024, Unite (or U) is a balance type Bit.

“U” features a ball-shaped tip with a flat underside. A small tip can be found in its flat center, although it doesn’t protrude enough to have the behavior advertised by Takara Tomy.

Unite was intended to have three different behavior patterns : agressive, semi-mobile and stationary, advertised as “evasion, dash, and counter” in the official description. However, due to the fact that the small tip in Unite center doesn’t protrude, this Bit cannot adopt a stationary behavior.

In reality, this Bit can be very agressive early in Battle, easily reaching the X-Line when launched flat. The resulting Xtreme Dash Attacks create a self knock-out risk, forcing players to launch a Unite combination at an angle.

In the second part of the Battle, Unite will adopt a semi mobile behavior, moving in circles around the stadium. While this Bit is outclassed for competitive use, it has decent stamina potential, making it an interesting option in anti-attack combinations.

Additionally, at the time of writing, the subsequent releases of this Bit have the same mold as the original.

Final Thoughts

Unite is a skill intensive, yet interesting Balance type Bit. However, it is outclassed by Rush, its low variant Low Rush, as well as Level and Kick for competitive use.

Therefore, Unite is a nice addition in any Beyblade X collection.
