Description of Wyvern Hover
First released with the DMM Lottery Prize UX-00 Wyvern Hover 2-80GN as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on October 24th, 2025, Wyvern Hover is a right spin Defense type Blade.
Unique Line Blades feature resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This is meant to increase Outward Weight Distribution, a trait that significantly improves stamina and attack potential.
Wyvern Hover features an oval shape, meant to deflect attacks coming from above and below. In reality, this Blade has two agressive, recoil laden contact points, creating high Attack power and Knock-Out potential.
Therefore, despite being officially labeled as a Defense type Blade, Wyvern Hover is in reality a great Attack type option. At the time of writing, its high Attack potential can Knock-Out any meta-game combination, even Wizard Rod in its 1-60 Hexa variant.
Furthermore, even though its two primary contact points are raised, Wyvern Hover also has decent Burst Attack potential.
However, when compared to other top tier Attack type Blades, Wyvern Hover also has some weaknesses. The raised contact points can expose the Ratchet, making 9-60 a mandatory option to mitigate Burst risk in a competitive environment, due to the heavy use of the Blade Shark Scale.
Moreover, as it is often the case in Beyblade, the oval shape can result in a slightly unpredictable behavior, when compared to Blades such as Shark Scale and Aero Pegasus. The unique design of this Blade may also result in a lack of stability when losing spin velocity when compared with these Blades. Wyvern Hover can be suddenly destabilized when struck by other top tier Attack type Blades.
It is also worth noting that Wyvern Hover high recoil can feel unpredictable at times ; as a result, it may be knocked-out when striking the opposing Beyblade.
Final Thoughts
Due to its high Attack potential, Wyvern Hover can find use in a competitive environments, especially when combined with 9-60 and the Bits Rush and Low Rush.
Therefore, this Blade can be considered as a must have, especially for players willing to create attack oriented competitive Decks.
