Description of 2-60 Ratchet

First released with the Cobalt Dragoon 2-60C Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on July 13th, 2024, 2-60 (or Two Sixty) is a Ratchet from the Beyblade X generation.

The number “2” refers to the number of protrusions along the Ratchet’s perimeter, therefore 2-60 has two protrusions. In Beyblade X, Ratchets protrusions are acting as weak points for burst attacks, therefore players have to make sure these protrusions are not too exposed.

The number “60” refers to the Ratchet height, which in this case is 6 mm. This height is considered as “low”, meaning that this Ratchet can be used to more easily strike opponents from below. Furthermore, the “60” height Ratchets have weaker locks than the “80” height Ratchets. However, the lower Ratchet being harder to strike, the lower height slightly mitigates this issue.

2-60 protrusions are very pronounced, creating a high Burst risk in any type of combination. Even when equipped with an attack/balance type Bit, 2-60 can Burst while hitting the X-Line. Therefore, 2-60 has the highest Burst risk in Beyblade X.

Having the worst Burst resistance amongst all available Ratchet options, as well as poor synergy with the majority of Beyblade X Blades, we can recommend this Ratchet to collectors only.
