Description of Dual
First released with CX-09 Starter Sol Eclipse D5-70TK as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line on September 27th, 2025, Dual is an Assist Blade.
Dual is entirely made of plastic, featuring five secondary contact points to support the Main Blade. Like Turn, Dual has a gimmick : it can be used in two modes, “Upper” or “Smash”. In Upper mode, the auxiliary contact points are slanting upward, creating potential for Upper Attacks. In Smash Mode, the auxiliary contact points are slanting downward, creating Smash Attacks.
Depending on which Main Blade is used, players may struggle to find a noticeable difference in Battle.
Similarly to Turn, Dual is mainly a destabilization tool. Being made of plastic, the low recoil of the Assist Blade allows to inflict hits in quick succession, creating destabilization potential.
Finally, please note that while Dual can be separated in two parts, using this Assist Blade without the contact points attached is forbidden in official Beyblade tournaments.
Final Thoughts
Dual is an interesting option in any type of Custom Line combinations, due to its decent weight and design. However, it is outclassed by other Assist Blades, such as Wheel, for competitive use.
Therefore, it is a nice addition for Custom Line collectors.
