Description of Croc Crunch
First released with BX-00 Croc Crunch 2-60Q as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on February 5th, 2025, Croc Crunch is a right-spin Attack e type Blade.
Croc Crunch is a retool of the Shark Edge Blade (Keel Shark in Hasbro). This means the overall shape and design are very similar to Shark Edge, albeit with minor differences. Although Croc Crunch features a green Metal Coat, this Blade is lighter than Shark Scale.
It features Shark Edge’s signature shape, with two long, aggressive blades serving as the main contact points. Both blades are angled upward, allowing for strong upper attacks. The contact points are textured, featuring slight ridges designed to evoke crocodile skin.
Overall, Croc Crunch performs quite similarly to Shark Edge, despite the minor differences mentioned earlier in this article.
It retains the same ability to knock out opposing combos, as well as the power to destabilize opponents through its Upper Attacks. Although this Blade is outclassed in the current meta game, the original Shark Edge saw official tournament play during the early days of Beyblade X.
Final Thoughts
Unfortunately, this Blade is heavily outclassed for competitive use.
Therefore, this Blade is a nice addition in any Beyblade X collection.
