Description of Whip
First released with CX-18 Brachio Whip OW5-70Nr as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line Expand Blade on June 13th, 2026, Whip is a right-spin Stamina type Metal Blade.
Whip is entirely made of metal, featuring two long blades. Each blade features two sections: a shorter, smooth portion, and a longer one with a contact point capable of generating recoil.
Except for these two recoil contact points, the overall Metal Blade features a smooth and relatively thin perimeter.
The two protrusions on Whip can destabilize the opposing combo, but it is common to see the combo equipped with Whip get destabilized itself in the process. The recoil occurs somewhat randomly—a trait competitive players generally try to avoid.
Furthermore, Whip has average stamina potential. This Metal Blade offers mediocre stamina, which its destabilization potential fails to compensate for. As a result, Whip is outclassed by Blast, which remains—at the time of writing this article—one of the top references for Stamina combos in the Custom Line.
Final Thoughts
In conclusion, Whip cannot compete with the top Main Blades currently available. Furthermore, the randomness created by its two recoil points may not appeal to Stamina-type enthusiasts.
Therefore, Whip is a nice addition in any Beyblade X collection.
