Description of Jaggy
First released with Fox Brush J9-70GR in the CX-06 Random Booster FoxBrush Select as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line on May 17th, 2025, Jaggy is an Assist Blade.
Jaggy is entirely made of plastic, featuring a grand total of 9 secondary contact points to support the Main Blade.
The contact points can be divided in three sections of three contact points. While each section has a similar pattern, in reality these contact points vary in size and shape, making Jaggy slightly unbalanced.
This design is meant to increase the Main Blade Brush attack power, creating the same Barrage attacks, consecutive hits in quick succession.
While not as small as Charge, Jaggy does not protrude from the Main Blade as much as other options such as Slash. Therefore, this Assist Blade may not add as much attack potential, although it won’t interfere as much during collisions, a characteristic that players may be interested in, depending on the Main Blade used.
So far, Jaggy seems to provide decent protection to the Ratchet, resulting in average to good Burst Resistance when compared to other options from Beyblade X Custom Line.
At the time of writing, we enjoyed this Assist Blade when combined to Main Blades such as Brave and Dark. In our opinion, the combination Perseus (or any Lock Chip) Dark Charge 5-60 Kick actually has great synergy, proving to excel as an anti attack combo.
Final Thoughts
With few Main Blade options to choose from, it is too early to find a competitive use to Charge. Furthermore, its smaller diameter and lighter weight may only find niche use on the long term. However, we were both impressed by its synergy with Dark, albeit non competitive nonetheless.
Therefore, this Assist Blade may be an interesting addition for Custom Line collectors.
