Description of Assault

First released with the CX-07 Starter Pegasus Blast ATr as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line on July 19th, 2025, Assault is an Assist Blade.

Assault is entirely made of plastic, featuring three secondary contact points to support the Main Blade. Its shape has great synergy with the Main Blade Blast, making its primary contact points thicker. However, this Assist Blade, like all others options available, leaves three gaps underneath Blast.

Additionally, this Assist Blade is slightly heavier than other options such as Charge, Slash or Jaggy, making it a decent option in Attack type combinations.

The main purpose of Assault is to enhance Blast Smash Attacks, which can result in the sudden destabilization of the opposing Beyblade when successful.

At the time of writing, this Assist Blade is an interesting alternative to existing options. However, in our opinion, it seems to be outclassed by the heavy, thick and smooth Assist Blade Wheel for competitive use.

With few Main and Assist Blade options to choose from, new Custom Line releases are always interesting for collectors. However, Assault may struggle to find any competitive use.

Therefore, this Assist Blade may be an interesting addition for Custom Line collectors.
