Description of Crimson Garuda 4-70TP

Released as a Booster as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on November 2nd, 2024, Crimson Garuda 4-70TP is a right-spin Balance type combination.

This Beyblade is advertised as being able to any opposite Beyblade height, thanks to the design of the Blade Crimson Garuda and the Bit Trans Point.

In reality, due to the raised blades on Crimson Garuda, the Ratchet 4-70 is exposed, resulting in a severe Burst risk.

Moreover, since this Beyblade is equipped with Trans Point, this stock combination can sit 2 mm above the standard height, increasing Burst risk. Trans Point “High Mode” makes the combination 1mm taller, 4-70 is also 1mm above the standard “60” height.

Furthermore, the gimmick of Trans Point as well as the oval shape of the Blade can create erratic movement patterns and Xtreme Dash Attacks. While the thin tip of Trans Point can create a stationary behavior with a flat launch (parallel to the stadium), the oval shape of Crimson Garuda can create unpredictable movements. Moreover, when the plastic guard of Trans Point is stuck in “Low Mode”, Xtreme Dash Attacks can be erratic and risky, with a high self knock-out risk.

As a result, the stock combination has poor synergy, and may even prove to be difficult to enjoy due to its high Burst risk.

How to Improve Crimson Garuda

As mentioned above, this Beyblade has a severe Burst risk, due to how exposed the Ratchet is. Therefore, we strongly recommend to replace 4-70 with 9-60 to increase Burst resistance.

Since Crimson Garuda tends to exacerbate movement, becoming unpredictable when launched hard, the popular Bit Low Rush can help to increase control and maintain smooth Xtreme-Dash Attacks. Low Rush also lowers the combination height, thus increasing Burst resistance.

However, it is worth noting that Crimson Garuda can be played with Bits of any type. While it is outclassed for competitive use, it is decent enough to counter previous references of the meta-game, such as Hells Scythe 9-60 Ball.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this stock combination has poor synergy out of the box, and it doesn’t feature any competitive component. However, both the Blade and the Bit can be enjoyable options in a non-competitive environment.

Therefore, this Beyblade is a nice addition in any Beyblade X collection.
