Description of Wall Ball

First released as a Prize of CX-08 Random Booster Vol.7, Cerberus Flame W5-80WB, as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line on July 19th, 2025, Wall Ball (or WB) is a stamina type Bit.

Wall Ball, as its name suggests, is a variant of the popular Bit Ball, featuring an hemispherical tip, albeit slightly smaller than Ball. The smaller tip makes Wall Ball slightly more docile than Ball, allowing players to keep the Beyblade inside the center part of the Stadium even when launched hard. This “Wall” variant adds a plastic part surrounding the tip, meant to help the Beyblade maintain its posture.

It is important to note that WB is 1mm taller than standard Bits. Furthermore, it has 16 gears, similarly to Bits such as Accel.

Performances

As we have often mentioned in our wiki pages, stability and destabilization are a crucial part of Beyblade X gameplay mechanics. As such, this Bit combines the high stamina of other options such as Orb or Free Ball, and an unparalleled stability thanks to its added plastic guard. Therefore, at the time of writing, Wall Ball has the highest stamina potential in Beyblade X.

Compared to another high stability option, Elevate, Wall Ball has better stamina thanks to its rounded tip, although it has poor LAD.

Moreover, Wall Ball outclasses Bits such as Ball in stamina match-ups, and its stability is so high than it can be combined with recoil-laden yet well balanced Blades such as Aero Pegasus to counter the Spin-Equalizing combination Cobalt Dragoon 5-60 Elevate.

However, WB has two weaknesses, which could be exploited by attack type combinations. WB sits at 1 mm above the standard height, making a Wall Ball combination easier to Burst. Furthermore, the added plastic guard features 16 Gears, just like Accel. Since WB has a smaller tip than Ball, it makes the combination easier to repel and knock-out. The 16 Gears will also cause the combination to make high velocity Xtreme Dash attacks when repelled on the X-Line, resulting in stamina losses and self knock-outs.

Finally, it is worth noting that the plastic “Wall” surrounding the tip will sometimes act as a brake, preventing the combination from being repelled too far and too fast. When that happens, players can hear the “Wall” part scraping against the stadium floor.

Final Thoughts

Featuring high stamina and unmatched stability, Wall Ball is a must have for competitive players and collectors alike.
