Description of Crimson Garuda
First released with BX-38 Booster Crimson Garuda 4-70TP as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on November 2nd, 2024, Crimson Garuda is a right-spin Balance type Blade.
Crimson Garuda has an overall oval shape, featuring two large sections. Each section has three different contact points. The first, smaller contact point slopes downward, creating smash attack potential. The second contact point is thicker and slopes upward, creating upper attack potential. This combination of smash and upper attacks in quick succession can create Destabilization potential. The third contact point is a long blade sloping upward, increasing upper attack potential.
Furthermore, the overall oval shape of Crimson Garuda tends to exacerbate movement, even when combined with stationary Bits. Therefore, this Blade is fairly agressive when compared to other Balance type options. Moreover, these exacerbated movement patterns increase attack and destabilization potential. However, as it is often the case with oval shaped Blades, Crimson Garuda may feel more difficult to control, with an unpredictable and erratic behavior.
Additionally, the upward sloping contact points are raised, exposing the Ratchet. Therefore, players willing to increase Burst resistance may have to use 9-60 to make this Blade more enjoyable.
While Crimson Garuda is outclassed for competitive use, it has just enough weight to be a decent option in a non competitive environment. Various Crimson Garuda combinations can be used with some degree of success against top tier combos from the early days of the Beyblade X generation, such as Hells Scythe 9-60 Ball.
Final Thoughts
This Blade has poor Burst resistance, and it lacks stamina and attack potential, making it outclassed for competitive use. However, its unique behavior can be enjoyable in a non competitive environment, making it a nice addition in any Beyblade X Collection.
