Description of Turbo

First released with the CX-07 Starter Pegasus Blast ATr as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line on July 19th, 2025, Turbo (or Tr) is an Attack type Bit featuring an integrated Ratchet.

The Integrated Ratchet makes Turbo the heaviest Bit at the time of writing. Furthermore, this feature prevents the Bit from interacting with the Gear Chip. For example, when combined with Tr, Scorpio Spear sub-layer spins freely.

The tip itself is very similar to Accel, featuring 16 Gears instead of the usual 12, as well as the same indentation at the center of the tip.

Similarly to Performance Tips such as Final Drive from Metal Fight Beyblade, or Reboot and Ultimate Reboot from Beyblade Burst, Turbo has a gimmick allowing it to accelerate during the Battle.

When launched with enough force, a pointy plastic tip will come out of Turbo, resulting in reduced levels of friction. Therefore, this additional tip creates a semi-mobile behavior in the early stage of the Battle. As spin velocity decreases later during the Battle, the pointy tip will retract. When this tip gets back inside, the flat surface of Turbo will make contact with the Stadium, creating a sudden increase of friction. This results in a fast, unpredictable acceleration, often creating an Xtreme Dash attack.

However, since the gimmick triggers when spin velocity decreases, the 16 gears on Turbo will completely drain remaining stamina when hitting the X-Line. Therefore, although Tr is meant to give a second wind to the combination, in reality it has poor stamina. Unfortunately, Attack potential is mediocre as well, since Tr will be unpredictable, and very difficult to control due to the nature of its gimmick.

When the Gimmick is triggered, Turbo sits at a tall height ; 90 mm. When the pointy tip is inside the Bit, Tr sits at a relatively standard height, 65 mm.

Final Thoughts

Turbo may have the nostalgia of some of Beyblade most iconic gimmicks, but unfortunately, the second wind provided by this Bit has poor synergy with Beyblade X Xtreme-Line. With a very limited attacking pattern, poor control and poor stamina, in our opinion this Bit can be recommended to collectors only.
