Description of Meteor Dragoon 3-70J

Released as a Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on December 27th, 2025, Meteor Dragoon is a left-spin Attack type combination. This Starter comes with a Winder Launcher, featuring the a slightly elongated Ripcord for increased launch power.

As all Unique Line models, this Beyblade features resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This further increases Outward Weight Distribution, a characteristic that significantly improves stamina and attack potential. 

Unique Line models also have a gimmick : Meteor Dragoon combines Barrage Attacks (hits in quick succession) meant to create spin-equalization potential thanks to the use of rubber, and a “One Hit Kill” attack created by the largest contact point and its big rubber protrusion. This Blade is one the heaviest available, weighing approximately 39 grams.

However, the use of Jolt and its thin tip prevents this Beyblade from being an effective spin-equalization combo. Due to the unbalanced weight distribution of the Blade, combined with the lack of stability of the Bit, this stock combination tends to be suddenly destabilized when losing spin velocity.

Furthermore, the use of Jolt creates a significant self knock-out risk, due to its additional gears (16 instead of the standard 12). The increased number of gears creates fast, agressive and powerful Xtreme Dash attacks, at the cost of stamina.

In theory, the unbalanced weight distribution of the Blade may not be to the taste of competitive players. However, with Attack type combinations becoming more popular in the meta game, the Blade Meteor Dragoon could find use in competitive environments, depending on the evolution of the meta game.

How to Improve Meteor Dragoon

Obviously, players can try to create spin-equalization combinations with Meteor Dragoon. The best Ratchets options would be 5-60 and 9-60, combined with the Bit Elevate.


Beyblade Academy Combo :
However, this is not our favourite combination for this left-spin attack type Blade. Due to its imbalanced weight distribution, our favorite Bit option is Level. Level agressive pattern allows to keep Meteor Dragoon Attack potential, while also providing great stability, making use of spin-equalization at the end of the Battle.

With high Burst resistance, raw attack power and decent stamina, Meteor Dragoon 5-60 Level is a fairly versatile combination.

Since the rubber parts are located on the lower section of the contact points, players can also use “70” height Ratchets such as 5-70 to make the combination a bit taller. This may result in more contact with Meteor Dragoon rubber parts.

Despite the addition of rubber, Meteor Dragoon cannot be described as an improved variant of Cobalt Dragoon. With three main contact points and an unbalanced weight distribution, players are forced to make use of Meteor Dragoon attack potential, instead of turning it into another top-tier Spin-Equalization Blade.

Furthermore, although Jolt is a very interesting attack type Bit featuring decent stamina potential, its lack of stability makes it slightly outclassed by Level

Therefore, released as a Starter with a very good Winder Launcher, this Beyblade is a strong addition in any Beyblade X collection.
