Description of Shark Scale 4-50UF
Released with the UX-15 Shark Scale Deck Set as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on August 9th, 2025, Shark Scale 4-50 Under Flat is a right-spin Attack type combination.
As all Unique Line models, this Beyblade features resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This further increases Outward Weight Distribution, a characteristic that significantly improves stamina and attack potential.
Unique Line models also have a gimmick : Shark Scale 4-50UF sits at a very low height due to 4-50 and the Bit Under Flat, thus striking from a low stance. This creates synergy with the Blade Shark Scale, which performs Upper Attacks in quick succession.
As a result, this stock combination has both great Burst attack and Knock-Out potential, its lower height allowing it to strike opposing Beyblades from below. In Beyblade X, striking from a lower stance means that hitting the opposing Beyblade’s Ratchet is easier, thus increasing Burst attack potential.
Furthermore, while the overall shape of the Blade and the design of the Bit are very agressive, Shark Scale 4-50UF remains easy to control, with a better stamina potential than players would usually expect from such an agressive combo.
This Beyblade is not the heaviest, for understandable reasons ; a heavier Shark Scale Blade could potentially break the balance of the game. This stock combination will shine in most match-ups, thanks to its great attack potential. Even stock combinations such as Wizard Rod 5-70DB and Silver Wolf 3-80FB will suffer from their taller height, thus making their Ratchets more vulnerable to Shark Scale unforgiving strikes.
Furthermore, while the Ratchet shape “4” has very poor Burst Resistance, it is worth noting that 4-50 synergy with the other components of this Beyblade is quite impressive. When combined with Under Flat and other Blades such as Impact Drake, 4-50 displays lower Burst Resistance.
This stock combination will definitely please any Attack type fans, being one of the best stock combinations available in this specific type.
How to Improve Shark Scale
As mentioned above, this stock combination has outstanding synergy between its components. Therefore, non-competitive players may not feel the need to improve Shark Scale. However, Under Flat can be a risky option, because of its lack of stamina.
Players willing to make the stock combo safer can use the obvious Rush and Low Rush instead, Low Rush probably being the best in this specific combo to make better use of Shark Scale Burst attack potential.
When it comes to the Ratchet, we would recommend players to avoid 2-60, as well as 4-60 or 4-55. In attack type combinations, 3-60 and 1-60 can be a great option, although it will make the combination taller, thus making its Burst potential slightly weaker.
Final Thoughts
When compared to its predecessor, Shark Edge, this Beyblade feels like a huge upgrade in all areas. It strikes harder, and yet remains easier to control, even for beginners. Shark Scale 4-50UF impressive attack power can be compared to releases such as Dran Buster 1-60A or Impact Drake 9-60LR, with a better control than Dran Buster and better stamina than Impact Drake.
The outstanding synergy of this stock combination make it a must have for players who enjoy Attack type combinations.
