Description of Under Flat
First released in the UX-15 Shark Scale Deck Set as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on August 9th, 2025, Under Flat (or UF) is an Attack type Bit. UF is a lower variant of Flat.
UF tip is almost identical to the one found on Flat, featuring a round, flat tip with a shallow indentation. This design is intended to create aggressive movements, helping the combination to reach the X-Line and perform Xtreme Dash attacks. However, the high levels of friction created by the tip also result in poor stamina potential.
The word “Under” is a new type of variant, being 2 mm lower than the standard height. Previously, players were used to see “Low” variants, such as Low Flat, sitting 1 mm below the standard height. Therefore, at the time of writing, “Under” Bits are the lowest variants available.
The lowered height of a UF combination increases Burst attack potential, making it easier to strike the opposing Beyblade Ratchet. Furthermore, it can also facilitate the opposing Beyblade destabilization, depending on the Blade used.
Additionally, as with all Attack type Bits, the shaft features a widened part, resulting in increased Burst resistance.
Wear and Tear
It is worth noting that the repeated contacts between UF and the X-Line can cause rapid, unusual wear on this Bit. Therefore, both competitive and non-competitive players may need to have multiple copies of this Bit at their disposal.
Final Thoughts
Featuring poor stamina and offering little control, the sole purpose of this Bit is to burst or knock the opposing Beyblade out as fast as possible. Therefore, a UF combination relies on the first attacks of the Battle, making it a risky choice in a competitive environment.
However, while “UF” is a decent attack type Bit, it is outclassed by options such as Rush and Low Rush for competitive play.
Therefore, UF is a nice addition in any player’s collection.
