Description of Vortex
First released in the CX-01 Dran Brave S6-60V Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line system on March 29th, 2025, Vortex (or V) is an attack type Bit.
Vortex features a flat, spiral shaped plastic tip, reminiscent of Right Rubber Flat, a Performance Tip from the Metal Fight Beyblade generation introduced with the iconic Galaxy Pegasus.
This Bit creates high levels of friction, allowing the combination to perform agressive moves and reach the Xtreme-Line with ease, resulting in fast and consistent Xtreme Dash attacks.
The tip being slightly wider than Cyclone, it is also more agressive, and may be harder to control.
Overall, Vortex performances and behavior are similar to Flat.
Due to its agressive behavior and lack of stamina, Vortex may be preferred in attack oriented combinations.
Final Thoughts
At the time of writing, Rush and its low variant Low Rush are the preferred options for competitive players, being easy to control, and mitigating stamina losses during Xtreme-Dash attacks.
Vortex having the regular 12 Gears and performances similar to Flat and Cyclone, choosing this Bit will entirely come down to personal preferences.
Therefore, Vortex may not be a must have for competitive players, but it remains a strong addition in any Beyblade X collection nonetheless.
