Description of Ragna Rage FE4-55Y
Released as a Booster as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line Expand Blade system on March 28th, 2026, CX-15 Ragna Rage FE4-55Y is a right-spin Stamina type combination.
Ragna Rage is the third Beyblade from the Custom Line Expand Blade (or “Infinity”), featuring a customisable Blade made of four interchangeable parts : the Lock Chip, the Metal Blade, the Over Blade and the Assist Blade.
This stock combo is designed to gradually destabilize the opponent’s combination while preserving its own stamina. This destabilization is generated by the elliptical shape and semi-aggressive profile of the Rage Metal Blade and the Erase Assist Blade. Meanwhile, the Yielding Bit provides sufficient stability thanks to its wide, conical tip, as well as its weight distribution enhanced by four plastic plates positioned above the tip.
In reality, Yielding’s wide plastic tip increases friction whenever the combo tilts, resulting in stamina loss.
Additionally, Yielding’s high stature combined with the pronounced protrusions on the 4-55 Ratchet significantly increases the risk of a Burst.
As a result, while this combo can yield decent results, it suffers from glaring weaknesses that aggressive Attack types can easily exploit. Finally, Ragna Rage simply lacks the stamina to hold its own against top-tier Stamina builds.
How to Improve Ragna Rage
At the time of writing, the best options to improve Custom Line Beyblades are the Assist Blades Wheel and Heavy. Wheel is preferred to create Defense/Stamina oriented combinations, while Heavy is the preferred option in agressive Balance/Attack type combos.
Although Wheel is a top-tier choice for Custom Line Stamina builds, Rage’s elliptical shape leaves the Wheel Assist Blade more exposed, which can lead to Bursts via “Bit Release”.
Swapping out the 4-55 Ratchet is crucial to boost Burst resistance, as its prominent protrusions are far too easy to catch. Unfortunately, at this point, the 9-60 Ratchet is practically mandatory for Custom Line builds.
As for the Bit, while Yielding remains a playable option, its height can contribute to poor Burst resistance—especially in a CX build. Because of this, staple options like Ball or Free Ball will significantly boost the combo’s performance
You can also play a ‘Push’ style with Rush or Kick. The popular Hexa can also be used to increase Burst Resistance while keeping a stationary behavior.
A more aggressive approach is possible by pairing the Heavy Assist Blade with either the 4-50 or 1-50 Ratchet and the Low Rush Bit. The goal here is to minimize the combo’s height as much as possible, ensuring that impacts hit the Rage Metal Blade directly (rather than the Heavy Assist Blade) while also boosting Burst resistance.
Finally, players who own the Emperor and Valkyrie Lock Chips can use them to increase KO resistance.
Final Thoughts
In conclusion, this booster is mainly interesting for the uniqueness of its parts, such as the hybrid design of the Metal Blade Rage or the design of Yielding. Flow can also prove to be a solid Over Blade for CX Infinity series models. However, at the moment, none of these components are essential for competitive play.
Therefore, Ragna Rage FE4-55Y is a nice addition in any Beyblade X collection.
