Description of Driger V2 Over Wedge’
Driger V2 Over Wedge’ is a right-spin stamina type combination, released with the B-198 Random Booster Vol. 29 as part of the Burst Ultimate system on May 28th, 2022. It is one of the two Prize Beys of this Random Booster, making it more difficult to get.
This Beyblade is one of the plastic generation remakes released in the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems. As such, it features a Layer, and does not have the usual components of Beyblades from these systems (Blade, DB Core and Armor). Therefore, this model cannot switch between High and Low mode.
This remake has a circular shape, featuring two long slopes with two tiger heads, designed to create upper attacks. In the center of the Layer, a metal “Bit Chip” is molded, depicting the Driger Bit Beast.
Behavior
This stock combination being equipped with Wedge’, its behavior is stamina oriented. This Beyblade is fairly stationary, it will try to remain steady in the center area of the stadium, even when launched with force.
Performances
Out of all the plastic generation remakes released in the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems, this Beyblade is easily the strongest, being the heaviest and displaying the best stamina potential. While Wedge’ has been outclassed in the meta-game, it remains a solid and surprisingly good stamina Performance Tip, and Over is one of the best Forge Discs in the DB/BU systems. Those components combined with the perfectly round, circular shape of this Beyblade create a surprising and impressive stamina potential.
How to improve Driger V2 Over Wedge’
Friendly Use
In a non-competitive environment, the most important thing is to find a system where this Beyblade can be used in a fair and balanced manner. While it may be able to create fun battles when opposed to other Beyblades from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems, the Gatinko Layer system is probably the best to use Driger V2.
Competitive Use
This Beyblade only needs a better stamina Performance Tip to have real competitive performances. Drivers such as High Xtend+’ or Bearing’ will be huge upgrades for this combination.
Furthermore, the Over Forge Disc is one of the best discs available in the DB/BU systems. Heavy and highly versatile, it is a top tier competitive component.

Driger V2 Over Wedge’ is easily the best plastic generation remake in the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems, featuring great stamina potential. Furthermore, this combination is an opportunity to get the great Over Forge Disc.
Therefore, while this Beyblade is not a must have for competitive players, it certainly is a great addition to any player’s collection.
