Description of Ghost Circle 0-80GB
Released with the UX-12 Random Booster Vol. 5 as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on December 28th, 2024, Ghost Circle 0-80GB is a right-spin Stamina type combination.
As all Unique Line models, this Beyblade features resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This further increases Outward Weight Distribution, a characteristic that significantly improves stamina and attack potential.
Unique Line models also have a gimmick : Ghost Circle has a perfectly round, smooth circular shape meant to increase spin duration. This identity is mainly created by the round shape of the Blade Ghost Circle and the Ratchet 0-80.
In reality however, the Blade is one of the lightest Blades available in Beyblade X, making it very easy to knock-out by Attack type combinations. Moreover, the tall height of 0-80, combined with the Stamina type Bit Gear Ball makes this stock combination easier to Burst.
Furthermore, self knock-out risk is also fairly high. The light weight of the Blade makes the combination easier to repel against the X-Line, while the extended gears on Gear Ball will easily trigger Xtreme Dash attacks. As a result, this Beyblade is prone to self knock-outs and stamina losses caused by Xtreme Dash attacks.
At the time of writing, none of the components on this Beyblade are must-have for competitive players. The Blade is heavily outclassed by heavy, top tier options such as Wizard Rod or Clock Mirage, 0-80 is too tall to be used in a competitive environment, and Gear Ball is also outclassed by other options, such as the popular Bits Ball and Free Ball.
How to Improve Ghost Circle
The stock combination can be improved with a lower Ratchet to mitigate Burst risk. 0-60 can be used to remain as close as possible to the stock combination. Moreover, Bits such as Ball or Orb, Free Ball or even Wall Ball can be used to improve overall stamina potential. Wall Ball creates high stability, although its taller height makes 9-60 almost mandatory in this specific combination.
Beyblade Academy Combo :
Furthermore, the Blade Ghost Circle can be used with some degree of success in spin-equalization combinations. Therefore, players can combine 9-60, 5-60, 0-60 or even 0-70 with the Bit Elevate. This specific combination will easily maintain its posture, and create decent L.A.D. potential. Although it may sound surprising, if Ghost Circle avoids opposing attacks, this custom combination can be used to counter Cobalt Dragoon 5-60 Elevate.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this stock combination has poor synergy, mainly due to its tall height. At the time of writing, combining tall Ratchets such as 0-80 with Stamina/Defense type Bits is just too risky, even for non competitive use.
Furthermore, all three components found on this Beyblade are outclassed for competitive play.
Therefore, this Beyblade is a nice addition in any Beyblade X collection.
