Description of Ignition
First released with CX-13 Starter Bahamut Bliz BK1-50I as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line Expand Blade on March 28th, 2026, Ignition (or I) is an attack type Bit.
Ignition tip is hollowed, creating friction with eight protrusions on its thin perimeter. This design results in very agressive movements, reminiscent of Level initial behavior. Furthermore, like Level or Accel, Ignition has 16 gears instead of the standard 12, resulting in fast Xtreme Dash attacks. However, these fast movements will drain Ignition stamina very quickly.
Additionally, Ignition is a very low Bit, sitting 2 mm below the standard height. As a result, this Bit has the same height as “Under” variants, such as Under Needle or Under Flat.
In reality, at the time of writing, Ignition is the most agressive Bit available. Its low height adds Burst attack potential, while its movement speed increases Kock Out potential.
However, it is worth noting that while Ignition can be easier to control than Accel, it has very limited stamina, making it easily outclassed by top tier options such as Rush and Low Rush.
Finally, like other attack type Bits, the shaft is wider, resulting in increased burst resistance.
Final Thoughts
Having poor stamina and a fairly high self knock-out risk, Ignition is a a risk and reward Bit. While its movement speed is unmatched, providing high attack and Burst attack potential to any combination, its lack of stamina can be frustrating. As a result, this Bit relies on the first strikes of the Battle to knock its opponent out, since its stamina will be exhausted very quickly.
Therefore, Ignition can be recommended to players specialized in Attack type combinations only.
