Description of Valkyrie Volt S4-70V

Released as a Rare Bey Get Battle Prize Booster as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line system on July 17th, 2025, CX-00 Valkyrie Volt S4-70V is a right-spin Attack type combination.

This Beyblade introduced two additional components in Beyblade X Custom Line, the Lock Chip Valkyrie and the Main Blade Volt. The most important component for competitive players is most certainly Valkyrie, the first Lock Chip featuring a metal part.

The additional weight provided by Valkyrie increases Inward Weight Distribution, which improves Defense, Stamina and stability as a result.

Valkyrie Volt is a traditional Attack type Beyblade, featuring the three-sided Main Blade Volt, the Assist Blade Slash and the Bit Vortex.

Vortex creates agressive, yet predictable movements, making the combination fairly easy to control. It is also worth noting that this Beyblade has an average Burst risk, despite the use of an Attack type Bit. Unfortunately, 4-70 protrusions are easy to strike, which increases Burst risk.

The Main Blade Volt seems to be prone to wear and tear, resulting in a progressive loss of attack potential.

How to Improve Valkyrie Volt

Valkyrie Volt can be easily improved by replacing the Ratchet Players can improve Burst Resistance if they feel the need to do so, by replacing 4-70 by other options, such as 7-60, 3-60, 9-60 or 1-60.

The Main Blade Volt can be used in any type of combinations, although it seems to work best in Attack oriented combos. Bits such as Low Rush, Rush are some of the best Attack type options. However, players can also try Level. Level improves stability, although it is more skill intensive than Rush and Low Rush. Players need to launch Level at an angle in order to avoid self knockouts.

Kick is also worth mentioning : this Bit provides decent stability, and it is easier to control than Level.

When it comes to the Assist Blades, Slash is perfectly fine. However, players can improve this Beyblade control, Attack and Stamina potential by replacing Slash with Heavy. For a safer approach, Wheel can also be used instead. Wheel mitigates recoil, making it a great option against other agressive Attack type combinations. However, Wheel lack of recoil will make this combination struggle against top tier Stamina Blades.

Final Thoughts

At the time of writing, Valkyrie Volt comes with the heaviest Lock Chip in Beyblade X Custom Line, making this Beyblade a great addition for competitive players.

However, the wear and tear of Volt primary contact points is disappointing, especially for such a rare and expensive Beyblade.
