Description of Cerberus Flame W5-80WB

Released as a Prize of the CX-08 Random Booster Vol. 7 as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Custom Line system on July 19th, 2025, Cerberus Flame W5-80WB is a right-spin Stamina type combination.

As all models from the Custom Line, it features customisable Blades, being made of three interchangeable parts : the Lock Chip, the Main Blade and the Assist Blade. As such, this Beyblade introduced four components : the Cerberus Lock Chip, Flame Main Blade, Wheel Assist Blade and and Wall Ball Bit.

This stock combination is reminiscent of the iconic Beyblade from the Metal Fight Beyblade Generation, Hells Kerbecs BD145DS. Cerberus Flame has the same perimeter, combining the metal of Flame and plastic of Wheel.

The Assist Blade Wheel will provide great defense to the combination, mitigating opposing Beyblade attacks with good consistency. Furthermore, the unique design of Wall Ball adds high stability, similar (if not superior) to Elevate. These two components make Cerberus Flame one of the best stamina type stock combinations, able to outspin some of Beyblade X famous stock combos such as Wizard Rod 5-70 Disc Ball.

However, Wall Ball has 16 gears, resulting in fast, sudden Xtreme Dash attacks when the combination is repelled against the X-Line. WB great stability mitigates stamina losses, but the fast Xtreme-Dashes will make the stock combination easier to knock-out nonetheless.

Furthermore, coming with 5-80, the combo is quite tall, resulting in high Burst risk against attack type combinations.

While Flame is a decent Main Blade, Wheel and Wall Ball may both become game changers in their own ways, making this Beyblade one the best models from the Custom Line.

How to Improve Cerberus Flame

Wheel and Wall Ball are so good that these two components can be kept without a doubt. Wheel is hands down the best option in stamina/defense type combinations, and Wall Ball can out spin a Ball combination with ease.

However, players willing to mitigate Cerberus Flame high Burst risk can may replace 5-80 with 5-60. This will turn Cerberus Flame in a high stamina/high defense combination. Please note that Wall Ball is taller than standard Bits, so reducing the Ratchet’s height critical to increase Burst resistance.

Furthermore, Wall Ball and Wheel can both be used with Blast, using Ratchets such as 9-60 or 3-60 to mitigate Burst risk. Pegasus (or any other Lock Chip) Blast Wheel 9-60 Wall Ball is in our opinion one of Beyblade X best combinations.

Final Thoughts

Featuring two components with enough potential to become game changers in Beyblade X, Wheel and Wall Ball, this Beyblade can be considered as a must have, even for players who do not collect Custom Line models usually.
