Description of Dran Buster 1-60A

Released as a Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on March 30th, 2024, Dran Buster 1-60 Accel is a right-spin Attack type combination. This Starter comes with a recolored Winder Launcher.

As all Unique Line models, this Beyblade features resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This further increases Outward Weight Distribution, a characteristic that significantly improves stamina and attack potential. 

Unique Line models also have a gimmick : Dran Buster’s gimmick is the “One Hit KO” or “One Hit Kill”, reminiscent of Buster Xcalibur, a Beyblade Burst generation model from the Cho-Z Layer system. Like Xcalibur Beyblades, Dran Buster has a sword tip acting as the main contact point.

The 1-60 Ratchet can be aligned with Dran Buster sword tip, further enhancing attack potential. Finally, Accel doubles down on the all or nothing approach, creating very agressive movements and high velocity Xtreme Dash Attacks thanks to its 16 gears.

As a result, this stock combination has great Burst attack potential, being one of the most agressive stock combinations released in Beyblade X.

This Beyblade also has high knock-out potential : its high recoil can repel some of Beyblade X best Blades, such as Wizard Rod and Silver Wolf.

However, the imbalanced weight distribution of the Blade and the 16 gears of Accel make this Beyblade hard to control, with poor stamina and a high self Knock-Out risk.

How to Improve Dran Buster

The main priority for many players will be to make this Beyblade easier to control by replacing Accel. Bits such as Rush or Low Rush, or even Balance type Bits such as Taper and Kick can be used to improve control as well as stamina potential. Players willing to keep the stock combo identity can use Gear Flat : this Bit will maintain high velocity during Xtreme Dash Attacks while mitigating self Knock-Out risk when compared to Accel.

Furthermore, while 1-60 has great synergy with Dran Buster, Ratchets such as 3-60, 5-60 or 7-60 can be used instead. These options may improve control and stamina while maintaining decent attack potential.

This Starter is a must have for players who like attack type Beyblades, although it is important to note that the Blade Dran Buster is prone to fast wear and tear, due to its contact point quickly becoming flat, thus losing attack potential.

However, Dran Buster 1-60A remains one of the most agressive stock combinations alongside Impact Drake 9-60LR, also making it interesting for competitive players looking for high knock-out potential.
