Description of Dranzer V2 0Cross Reboot’

Dranzer V2 0Cross Reboot’ is a right-spin attack type combination, released with the B-186 Random Booster Vol. 26 as part of the Dynamite Battle system on June 26th, 2021.

While released as part of the Dynamite Battle system, this Beyblade is a remake from the plastic generation. This means it does not have any Armor, Blade or DB Core, and it is not compatible with High and Low Modes.

This model comes with a purple colored “10” Armor, one of the best armors from the DB/BU systems.

Due to its light weight and overall design, this stock combination will struggle against any other Dynamite Battle or Burst Ultimate Beyblade, the best way to enjoy it is to put it against other “plastic generation” Layer remakes.

Energy Layer : Dranzer V2

Dranzer V2 is a right-spin Energy Layer, a remake from Beyblade Bakuten Shoot, the first generation of Beyblade. It features four blades along its perimeter. The shape of the blades create small Upper Attack potential.

Its light weight make it difficult to use with other Beyblades from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Forge Disc : 0

0 is a Forge Disc featuring an elliptic shape and a smooth perimeter. It is compatible with Disc Frames.

Compared to other Discs from the God Layer and Cho-Z Layer systems, 0 is a heavy Disc, featuring CWD (Centralized Weight Distribution). CWD creates better defense potential, but the heavy weight makes 0 viable in attack type combinations.

However, 0 is heavily outclassed by Forge Discs from the Superking, Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Disc Frame : Cross

Cross is a Disc Frame featuring a diamond shape and four protrusions.

Due to its overall circular, round shape, this Disc Frame has the best LAD (Life-After-Death) potential. Furthermore, all four protrusions on its perimeter are angled upward, preventing scraping.

However, Forge Discs that allow the use of a Disc Frame are now heavily outclassed by Discs from the Superking, Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Performance Tip : Reboot’

Reboot’ is an attack type Performance Tip featuring a flat tip, with an eight pointed star shape.

Reboot’ features a gimmick : it has a built-in mechanism with an additional small, flat plastic tip.

When the Reboot’ combination is launched, centrifugal force will extend two tabs located on the Driver, pushing a small flat tip out. When the combination slows down, this tip will retract inside the Driver. Once the tip is inside the Driver, the eight pointed star shaped tip will make contact with the stadium floor. Due to its wider contact surface, this will create a sudden acceleration of the combo.

Reboot’ has limited attack potential in traditional attack type combinations. However, it can be used to create decent Tornado Stalls, since the acceleration caused by the gimmick will extend the duration of the Tornado Stall.

How to improve Dranzer V2 0Cross Reboot’

Friendly Use

Due to its Layer, this Beyblade is more enjoyable when played with other Beyblade Bakuten Shoot generation remakes.

Collectors and fans of the anime can use Reboot’ on any Valkyrie Beyblade to create Tornado Stalls. Due to the reinforced springs of the Dash variant, it is recommended to use Reboot’ on Layers/Chips/DB Cores released after the God Layer system, featuring bigger, thicker teeth.

Competitive Use

This Beyblade does not feature any competitive competitive component, but it comes with the “10” Armor. It is one of the best Armors from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems. It can be used in any type of combination. Furthermore, this specific model comes with a coat of purple paint, adding extra weight to the Armor.

Final Thoughts on Dranzer V2

Being a remake from the Beyblade Bakuten Shoot generation, Dranzer V2 0Cross Reboot’ is not a strong stock combination due to its unique Layer design. The only interesting component for competitive players is the “10” Armor.

However, this Beyblade is the only regular release featuring the Reboot’ Performance Tip.

Therefore, this Beyblade is a not necessarily a must have for competitive players, but it can be a great model for collectors.
