Description of the “4” Armor
Armors are used to modify or improve a combination’s weight distribution.
First released with the B-201 Zest Achilles Customize Set on August 6th, 2022, “4” is an Armor from the Burst Ultimate system.
The number “4” means that the weight is evenly distributed at four points. There are two points on each side of the Armor, making the weight evenly distributed at both sides of the Armor. In theory, this weight distribution results in a perfectly balanced armor. However, the center part of this component is hollowed, which can result in the combination tilting over.
For competitive use, “4” Armor is usually considered as outclassed by Armors such as 0, 2, 10, and 6 by the western community. As such, western players consider “4” as a fairly poor attack oriented Armor.
However, the heavy weight of this Armor is often used by highly competitive players in Japan. Japanese players use “4” in various types of combinations, but it is usually preferred in Dynamite + F Gear combos.
Therefore, “4” is a must-have in any player’s collection.
