Description of Tyranno Roar
First released with the UX-15 Shark Scale Deck Set as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on August 9th, 2025, Tyranno Roar is a right-spin attack type Blade.
This Blade is a retool of Phoenix Wing, meaning that Tyranno Roar is heavily inspired by Phoenix Wing, with similar plastic parts and a different metal component. Tyranno Roar shares the same overall three-sided shape, with three primary contact points.
However, when compared to Phoenix Wing, the contact points of Tyranno Roar are smoother. Tyranno Roar is also lighter than Phoenix Wing, weighing 3 grams less than the second mold of Phoenix Wing.
Furthermore, although it is officially labeled as an Attack type Blade, the bumpy design of Tyranno Roar contact points make it more defense oriented than Phoenix Wing, the latter having a more agressive design.
Despite its lack of weight, Tyranno Roar is a decent Blade. Its performances are similar to the first mold of Phoenix Wing, although it is slightly outclassed its second mold, weighing 39 grams.
The inertia and attack power of this Blade make it highly versatile, meaning it can be used in mobile (Rush, Point), semi-mobile (Ball) and stationary combinations (Hexa, Wedge).
Tyranno Roar can also be effective in an anti-attack role, when combined with Bits such as Kick, Unite or Taper.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Tyranno Roar used to be a top tier Blade, just like Phoenix Wing. However, it is now outclassed by Blades such as Aero Pegasus, Shark Scale, and Wyvern Hover, although it remains a decent anti-attack option nonetheless.
Therefore, this Blade is a strong addition in any Beyblade X collection.
