Description of Tyranno Roar 1-70L
Released with the UX-15 Shark Scale Deck Set as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on August 9th, 2025, Tyranno Roar 1-70L is a right-spin Attack type combination.
This Beyblade features Tyranno Roar, a decent retool of Phoenix Wing. The word “Retool” means that Tyranno Roar is inspired by Phoenix Wing, with similar plastic parts and a different metal component. Tyranno Roar shares the same overall three-sided shape, with three primary contact points. However, Tyranno Roar has smoother contact points, reminiscent of those previously seen on various Defense type Blades.
Furthermore, this stock combination introduces 1-70, a great alternative to the very popular 1-60 Ratchet. Moreover, it also has a black copy of Level, one of the best Attack type Bits alongside Rush and Low Rush at the time of writing.
While Level can be skill intensive, this stock combination can be used with some degree of success in two different roles. While it can be used as a decent, regular Attack type combination, it can also act as a good anti-attack combo, thanks to the stamina and stability of Level. Additionally, Tyranno Roar smoother contact points mitigates knock-out risk, which helps this stock combo when facing agressive attack type combinations.
It is also worth noting that the high stability provided by Level can achieve surprisingly good results against Stamina and Defense type combinations.
Overall, although it comes with a slightly taller Ratchet, this stock combination has great synergy, resulting in a very good Attack type stock combination.
How to Improve Tyranno Roar
As mentioned above, this stock combination has great synergy, so players may not feel the need to replace any component. However, replacing 1-70 with other options can be interesting nonetheless. Ratchets such as 1-60 or 3-60 usually perform very well in Attack type combinations. Additionally, players willing to add extra weight to the combination can use 7-60.
If players don’t feel comfortable with the skill intensive Bit Level, it can be replaced with the popular, user friendly Rush and Low Rush Bits. Furthermore, the smoother contact points of Tyranno Roar can be used with some degree of success with stationary Bits such as Hexa or Wedge.
Final Thoughts
Unfortunately, this Beyblade was released as part of the Shark Scale Deck Set, alongside Shark Scale 4-50UF. Since Shark Scale quickly became a top tier Attack type Blade in official Beyblade X tournaments, Tyranno Roar has been forgotten, even though it remains a decent Blade.
It used to be a top tier option in the Hasbro line meta game, alongside Phoenix Wing, now outclassed by Blades such as Aero Pegasus, Shark Scale, and Wyvern Hover.
However, the stock combination provides high quality components with 1-70 and Level, adding great value to the already “must have” Shark Scale Deck Set.
