Description of Low Rush
First released with the UX-11 Impact Drake 9-60LR Starter as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on December 28th, 2024, Low Rush (or LR) is an Attack type Bit.
LR is the low variant of Rush, the most popular option in competitive attack type combinations. Therefore, similarly to Rush, “LR” features a round, flat tip. The tip itself is not as wide as Flat and Low Flat, creating less friction with the stadium floor. However, the flat shape of the tip provides enough mobility and aggressiveness to ride the X-Line and perform the Xtreme Dash with ease.
Like other attack type Bits, the shaft is wider, resulting in increased burst resistance.
Low Rush “Gimmick”
Like Rush, Low Rush has ten gears, while standard Bits such as Flat and Low Flat have twelve gears. This unique design results in the combination riding the Xtreme Line with less speed, mitigating stamin losses at the cost of Xtreme Dash Attacks power.
Slower Xtreme Dash attacks also result in the combination being able to ride the X-Line more often and with more consistency. Similarly to Rush, in testing conditions with no opposing Beyblade in the stadium, players will be able to perform one or two additional Xtreme Dashes with “LR”. This unique behavior significantly reduces self knock-out risk, allowing players to launch the combination with power and confidence.
Performances
LR performances are very similar to Rush, having great attack potential, a docile behavior, and decent stamina. The lower friction of the tip combined with the mitigated stamina losses during Xtreme Dash attacks increase stamina potential, making it one of the easiest and safest attack type Bits to use in Beyblade X.
Low Rush is more effective than Rush when it comes to Burst attack power. Thanks to its lower height, it is easier to strike the opposing Beyblade’s Ratchet. However, this lower height can also make the combination slightly easier to destabilize when facing taller Beyblades.
Wear and Tear
It is worth noting that the repeated contacts between Rush and the X-Line may cause rapid, unusual wear on the tip and gears of this Bit. Furthermore, as all “Low” and “Under” variants, this Bit features an indented perimeter, also making this Bit prone to breakage.
Therefore, both competitive and non-competitive players may need to have multiple copies of this Bit at their disposal.
Final Thoughts
Low Rush is very similar to Rush, the most popular Bit in attack type combinations. This Low variant is just as safe as its standard counterpart. Compared to Rush, LR has better Burst resistance as well as better Burst attack potential, but its lower height can make a LR combination easier to destabilize in very specific match-ups.
Therefore, Low Rush is at least a must have for players who enjoy attack type combos. It may also be a very interesting option for competitive players thanks to its ease of use.
