Description of Tyranno Beat 4-70Q
Released with BX-31 Random Booster Vol.3 Xtreme Gear Sports Basic Line system on April 27th, 2024, BX-31 Tyranno Beat 4-70Q is a right-spin Attack type combination.
Tyranno Beat is a Beyblade whose Blade features an elliptical shape and boasts a unique gimmick thanks to the Quake Bit : it can bounce with varying degrees of regularity on the stadium floor. As a result, this Beyblade can occasionally pull off vertical attacks, though their effectiveness remains somewhat unpredictable.
This stock combination features an intermediate height, as it comes equipped with the 4-70 Ratchet. This 1 mm height increase compared to the standard height slightly elevates the Burst risk, a risk made even greater by the shape of the 4-70’s protrusions, which are highly prone to getting snagged by opposing Beyblades.
Consequently, this Beyblade suffers from several weaknesses that unfortunately overshadow the Tyranno Beat Blade’s intrinsic qualities. The Tyranno Beat 4-70Q combo exhibits unpredictable behavior, a slightly higher-than-average Burst risk, and lastly, poor stamina due to the Quake gimmick and the unique shape of its tip, which leaves the combo with poor stability at the end of its spin.
However, with a few modifications, it is important to note that the Tyranno Beat Blade – with its thick, massive perimeter – remains an excellent option for building counter-attack specialized combos, even if it falls short of being a top-tier competitive pick.
As a result, this Beyblade can be both fun to play due to its gimmick, and frustrating. Its uncompromising, pure-Attack identity forces players to secure a quick win (most often by Knockout), as its poor stamina potential will rarely allow it to clutch a victory via Spin Finish.
How to Improve Tyranno Beat
Generally speaking, the Tyranno Beat Blade lacks the raw attack power to pose a real threat to optimized Stamina type combos. As a result, it has occasionally found a niche role specifically in counter-attacking strategies.
While players can opt for classic offensive choices like Rush and Low Rush, Balance-type options such as Kick, Point, Taper, or Unite are also viable paths to take.
The choice of Ratchet is entirely up to the player’s discretion, though the most popular picks for this type of combo are generally 5-60 and 7-60. Here are some of our favorite combos based on the Tyranno Beat Blade : Tyranno Beat 7-60 Kick and Tyranno Beat 5-60 Point.
Final Thoughts
In conclusion, while Tyranno Beat 4-70Q doesn’t feature any components that are truly essential for competitive play, the Blade remains an interesting option in very specific scenarios.
Therefore, this Beyblade is a nice addition in any Beyblade X collection.
