First released in Japan as an exclusive to attendees of the Beyblade Park exhibit on December 27th, 2024, then later re-released as part of the Rare Bey Get Battle in Japan on March 27th, 2025, Mammoth Tusk is a right-spin Balance type Beyblade.

This Beyblade is quite rare in this Takara Tomy release. The Mammoth Tusk Blade is a Metal Coat version of Tusk Mammoth, which was previously released by Hasbro for the launch of Beyblade X in the West.

Additionally, it features the 2-80 Ratchet, notorious for its very high Burst rate, and the Elevate Bit, widely known for its effectiveness in the competitive Cobalt Dragoon 5-60E combo.

This stock combo has a high Burst rate due to the height and shape of the 2-80 Ratchet. This issue is worsened by the choice of the Elevate Bit, which makes the combo even more vulnerable during Xtreme Dashes, as its shaft lacks a widened section to increase Burst resistance.

As a result, this Beyblade can be quite frustrating to play due to its high Burst risk, and requires a Ratchet swap to make it both more effective and more fun.

How to Improve Mammoth Tusk

With 2-80 being one of the most Burst-prone Ratchets to date, players will need to swap it out for safer options, such as 3-60, 5-60, or 9-60.

While Elevate is a decent Balance type option, players can opt for classic offensive choices like Level, Rush and Low Rush, Balance type options such as Kick, Point, Taper, or Unite are also interesting paths to take.

Ultimately, nothing is stopping players from running the classic setups that succeeded in the past with Hells Scythe, the original counterpart to Mammoth Tusk. A combo like 9-60 Ball remains just as effective as ever.
