Devil Blade

Description of the Devil Blade

First released in Japan with the Devil Blade Get Campaign on July 17th, 2021, Devil is a right spin attack blade with three contact points. Devil was first introduced as a regular release with the Random Booster Vol. 27 as part of the Dynamite Battle system.

Devil is almost identical to the Dynamite Blade, in weight, shape and performances. Visually, the blades on Devil look slightly sharper than the ones found on Dynamite.

Advertised as an attack Blade, in reality, this blade will struggle to be efficient in an attack combination : it lacks weight, and the shape of the blade is just simply not agressive enough.

However, Devil is compatible with the Perfect Evolution Gears, allowing two potential upgrades : the F Gear and the L Gear. F Gear will make Devil one of the best stamina blades from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems, alongside Wind (released later in the Burst Ultimate system). Devil + F Gear has spin-equalization potential, making it a strong Blade in opposite-spin match-ups, and it is slightly better than Wind in same-spin match-ups.

The Devil Blade is compatible with both Low Mode and High Mode, but L Gear can only be used in High Mode. This specific Gear is an Armor, adding not only weight but also good weight distribution (see the complete L Gear article).
Therefore, in specific and limited scenarios requiring the use of High Mode (usually in opposite spin battles, see our advanced techniques article for more informations), the use of L Gear may result in better performances overall thanks to its great synergy with this Blade.

Devil with F Gear is one of the best right-spin stamina Blades in the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Therefore, the Devil Blade is a must have in any player’s collection.
