Dranzer Spiral 3-80T was released as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports system on July 15th, 2023.

This Beyblade is a balance type stock combination. It is the first release in the “X-Over Project”, a special Beyblade X line focused on remakes of Beyblades from previous generations. This model is the Xtreme Gear Sports remake of the Spin Gear System Dranzer S from the first generation of Beyblade : Bakuten Shoot Beyblade.

Unfortunately, this stock combination is not a very strong one, mainly because of the Blade very light weight. This Blade is 27,4g, which is between 4 and 5g lighter than all other Blades released so far in the Beyblade X generation.

This light weight results in poor stamina, and very inconsistent results. This remake can win a few battles, but it needs to knock the opponent out early in the battle. Otherwise, this Beyblade will struggle against any other stock combination released in the Xtreme Gear Sports system.

Furthermore, this model has blue paint around its perimeter. This paint will come off very quickly, and leave blue residue on stadiums and opposing Beyblades.

Overall, Dranzer Spiral 3-80T can be fun to play with, but its performances are average, and players who care about aesthetics may be disappointed.

How to Improve

This stock combination cannot be improved significantly as long as the Dranzer Spiral Blade is used. Being 4 or 5g lighter than other Blades is a huge factor, resulting in a huge stamina loss. Therefore, increasing attack potential can be an option to knock the opposing Beyblade out early in battle. Replacing Taper with Flat or Low Flat will create more aggressive movements and increase the K.O. potential of the combination.

For players who care about aesthetics, note that the 3-80 Ratchet and Taper Bit can match the original Dran Sword Blade color theme. Therefore, players can use Dranzer Spiral Parts to assemble the strong Dran Sword 3-80T combination while preserving the blue color theme.

Due to its light weight compared to regular Blades from the Xtreme Gear Sports system, this remake can move around the stadium at high speed, but it has poor stamina potential, resulting in inconsistent and poor to average performances.

However, it may be fun to use for collectors when more models will be released in the “X-Over Project”. At the moment, the Dranzer Spiral Blade can be recommended to collectors only, but the 3-80 Ratchet and Taper Bit are top tier Parts.
