Description of Dragoon V2 Tapered Zone’
Dragoon V2 Tapered Zone’ is a left-spin balance type combination, released with the B-194 Random Booster Vol. 27 as part of the Dynamite Battle system on December 29th, 2021.
While released as part of the Dynamite Battle system, this Beyblade is a remake from the plastic generation. This means it does not have any Armor, Blade or DB Core, and it is not compatible with High and Low Modes.
This model comes with the white and gold recolored versions of S Gear and L Gear required to assemble the Holy King Belial Beyblade.
Due to its weight and overall design, this stock combination will struggle against any other Dynamite Battle or Burst Ultimate Beyblade, the best way to enjoy it is to put it against other “plastic” remakes Layers.
Layer : Dragoon V2
Dragoon V2 is a left-spin Energy Layer, a remake from the plastic generation. It features four blades along its perimeter. Its light weight make it difficult to use with other Beyblades from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Forge Disc : Tapered
Tapered is a conical shaped Forge Disc featuring high OWD (Outward Weight Distribution). It is a versatile Forge Disc which may add mobility to the combination.

Performance Tip : Zone’
Zone’ features a sharp conical plastic tip barely protruding from a free-spinning plastic ring, sitting under a wider free-spinning disc. Advertised as a balance type Performance Tip, Zone’ is in reality a very good stamina driver featuring decent mobility.

How to improve Dragoon V2 Tapered Zone’
Friendly Use
Due to its Layer, this Beyblade is more enjoyable when played with other plastic generation remakes.
Competitive Use
While outclassed by drivers from Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems, Zone’ is a strong stamina type Performance Tip that can be used in tournaments. It can be used in stamina combinations, where it will shine in opposite-spin battles.
This Performance Tip can also be used in attack type combinations designed to battle in the DB standard stadium.
If not many Forge Discs options are available, then the versatile Tapered disc is a decent alternative that can be used in a competitive environment.
Final Thoughts on Dragoon V2
Being a remake from the plastic generation, Dragoon V2 Tapered Zone’ is not a strong stock combination due to its unique Layer design. However, this model features the very interesting Zone’ Performance Tip, and the white and gold recolored versions of S Gear and L Gear required to assemble the Holy King Belial Beyblade.
Therefore, this Beyblade is a not necessarily a must have for competitive players, but it can be a great model for collectors.
