Released as a Rare Bey Get Battle Prize Booster on July 30th, 2024 as part of the Xtreme Gear Sports Unique Line system on July 30th, 2024, Aero Pegasus 3-70A is a right-spin attack type combination.

This Beyblade is a reference to the Metal Fight Beyblade Series, more specifically the Pegasus Line. The overall shape of the Blade is reminiscent of the Pegasus Beyblades from the Metal Fight Generation, and the Gear Chip has a Face Bolt in the background, right behind the Pegasus avatar.

The name “Aero” comes from the fact that the Blade has six gaps, three in the inner part of the Blade, three on the outer part. This results in improved aerodynamism, which increases stamina as well as Outward Weight Distribution. Moreover, as all Unique Line models, Aero Pegasus features resin launcher hooks instead of the regular metal ones seen on Basic Line Models. This further increases Outward Weight Distribution, a characteristic that significantly improves stamina and attack potential. 

Unique Line models also have a gimmick : this Bey has a “Double Metal Coat”. This simply means Aero Pegasus has two coats of paint instead of one : a blue coat and a green coat, resulting in the Blade unique color theme.

This stock combination has a strong attack type identity, moving at high velocity and performing Xtreme Dash Attacks easily thanks to the Accel Bit. While this Bit drains stamina quickly, the Aero Pegasus Blade is highly versatile, having high attack power as well as high stamina. This keeps the stock combo fairly easy to play and enjoy, even though the potential of the Blade can be unleashed with a simple Bit change.

How to Improve Aero Pegasus

While the Ratchet 3-70 is not as optimal as 3-60, its Burst risk is not as high as 3-80. Therefore, players lacking Ratchet options can keep 3-70 if need be. However, the competitive potential of Aero Pegasus is at its peak when using Ratchets such as 3-60, 7-60, and 1-60. 1-60 tends to improve attack potential, but it comes at the cost of weight, 1-60 being lighter than 3-60 and 7-60. Therefore, 1-60 is usually preferred with Blades such as Phoenix Wing, at the time of writin 3-60 and 7-60 remain the preferred options for Aero Pegasus.

The Blade being so versatile, players may use any type of Bits with a high degree of success, including stamina Bits such as Orb and Ball. However, competitive players preferred options are Rush and Low Rush, both being the most popular choices in Attack type combinations at the time of writing.

The Bit Level can also be used competitively to counter Cobalt Dragoon 5-60 Elevate combinations. During our testing sessions, it is worth mentioning that a few Balance type Bits such as Kick, Point, Taper can also be used with a high degree of success.
