Description of the Spriggan 2 DB Core
First released with the B-205 Burst Ultimate VS Set as part of the Burst Ultimate system on November 12th, 2022, Spriggan 2 is a dual-spin DB core, which means it can be used as a right-spin or as a left-spin option. Spriggan 2 is sold with the tool required to change spin direction.
Spriggan 2 features a design based on previous Layers from the Spriggan line. It has high stamina potential, albeit slightly outclassed by the Achilles DB core, another dual-spin option. When used as a right-spin option, its stamina potential is comparable to Dragon.
This DB Core has average burst-resistance, albeit superior to its predecessor Spriggan 1.
Furthermore, Spriggan 2 is compatible with the “BU Lock” gimmick. Both Xanthus and Moon Forge Discs feature the “BU Lock” system, raised protrusions designed to interact with specific “BU Lock” compatible DB Cores. This gimmick makes it more difficult for the Disc to progress, increasing burst resistance.
While DB Cores such as Kerbeus, Perseus, Bahamut or Longinus are more popular options, Spriggan 2 is a decent option for players in need of an additional DB Core or who are specifically looking for a dual-spin Core.
Featuring high stamina potential, Spriggan 2 is a great dual-spin DB Core, making it a strong addition in any Beyblade Burst collection.
