Description of Infinite Dragon Zone’+X 1A

Infinite Dragon Zone’+X 1A is a right-spin balance type combination, released with the B-196 Random Booster Vol. 28 as part of the Dynamite Battle system on March 19th, 2022.

While released as part of the Dynamite Battle system, this Beyblade is actually a Superking Layer model. This means it does not have any Armor, Blade or DB Core, and it is not compatible with High and Low Modes. The Double Chassis 1A prevents the use of a Forge Disc.

The Zone’+X Performance Tip makes this stock combination very difficult to control. However, it is easier to use in the large DB standard stadium. The unpredictable behavior of the combo results in overall poor performances. Furthermore, it will struggle against most of the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate Beyblades.

This Demon King recolored Beyblade can be an interesting addition for collectors. Players who obtain this Beyblade as well as Tempest Achilles Xceed’+Z 1B (which comes with Infinite Shield) can assemble Demon King recolored versions of Infinite Achilles and Tempest Dragon.

Ring : Infinite (with Sword)

Infinite has two sword-shaped contact points, and it can be combined with two different parts : “Infinite Sword” and “Infinite Shield”. Therefore, this Ring can be used in three different modes : balance, attack and defense.

Infinite Dragon Zone’+X 1A comes with the “Infinite Sword“, meaning that this Ring comes in Attack mode. Infinite can be used in Balance mode if Infinite Sword is removed.

See the complete article on the Infinite Ring here.

Superking Chip : Dragon

Dragon is an average Chip from the Superking Layer system. With no major strengths or weaknesses, it can be used in any type of combinations.

Chassis : 1A

1A (or 1 Attack) is a Double Chassis, meaning that it does not allow the use of a Forge Disc in the combination. The Forge Disc is integrated to the Double Chassis.

This Chassis is attack oriented, featuring four blades along its perimeter.

Performance Tip : Zone’+X

Zone’+X features a sharp conical plastic tip barely protruding from a thin free-spinning plastic ring, surrounded by the metal disc of the “X” chip. However, “X” will lock the plastic part in place, disabling free-spin on both Xceed’ and Zone’.

The fact that “X” disables free-spin creates more aggressiveness, resulting in this unpredictable behavior, and it decreases the stamina and LAD (Life After Death) potential of the combination. Zone’+X may feel slightly safer to launch in the wider DB standard stadium, where it can be used in attack type combinations.

How to improve Infinite Dragon Zone’+X 1A

Friendly Use

Infinite Dragon Zone’+X 1A is very difficult to control because of the use of Zone’+X. Therefore, replacing the Driver can improve performances. If the Zone Chip is available, then Zone’+Z or even Zone’ will be easier to control and result in better performances.

Furthermore, players can replace the Infinite Sword with the Infinite Shield, making this combo more effective as a stamina/defense type.

1A can be replaced with 2B or 2A if available.

Finally, this combination will be more enjoyable when used with other models from the Superking system.

Competitive Use

Apart from Zone’, all the components featured in this Beyblade are outclassed by options from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

The 1A (or 1 Attack) Chassis is good enough to be used in a tournament based on the Superking Layer system. 1A can be replaced with 2B or 2A if available.

Infinite Ring used to be a fairly popular choice during the Superking system. It was usually combined with the Infinite Shield in stamina/defense type combos. However, this Ring is outclassed by Blades from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

The Dragon Superking Chip can be replaced with Solomon, Hyperion 2, Diabolos or Spriggan.

Zone’+Z is a better option than Zone’+X, it is a fairly strong component in the Superking system. Furthermore, when playing in the DB/BU meta-game, it can be a decent alternative for players lacking options, especially in opposite-spin battles. Both Zone’ and Zone’+Z can be used in attack combinations in the DB standard stadium.

An example of Superking competitive combo based on this model could be : Infinite (with Infinite Shield) Solomon Zone’+Z 2B.

Final Thoughts on Infinite Dragon Zone’+X 1A

Infinite Dragon Zone’+X 1A is too hard to control to get good results against other models from the Superking Layer system. However, its main purpose is to be an opportunity for players to get interesting components such as Zone’, and the Infinite Ring.

While the Infinite Ring is outclassed in the DB/BU meta-game, Zone’ and Zone’+Z are still viable options in the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Therefore, this Beyblade is not a must have for competitive players, but it can be a nice addition for collectors.
