Description of Roar Fafnir 00 Revolve-2
Roar Fafnir 00 Revolve-2 is a left-spin stamina type combination, released with the B-186 Random Booster Vol. 26 as part of the Dynamite Battle system on June 26th, 2021.
Intended to work as a stamina type combination because of the use of the Revolve Performance Tip, this Beyblade also features decent defense potential due the Roar Blade.
This stock combination behaves like a stamina type Beyblade, adopting a stationary behavior in the center area of the stadium. Revolve is outclassed by other stamina type Drivers, but this Beyblade is capable of decent performances in opposite-spin battles.
Blade : Roar
Roar is a left-spin defense type blade, designed to prevent the combination from bursting. Roar features a gimmick : it begins the battle in the four bladed “Counter Mode“, leaving four gaps between each blade.
As the lock progresses during battle, the Blade changes into the round “Defense Mode“, with plastic wings filling the four gaps, giving the Blade a perfectly round shape.

DB Core : Fafnir
Fafnir is a left-spin DB core, featuring four strong locks. It is an average DB Core, with decent stamina potential and burst resistance. This DB Core is outclassed by Bahamut and Longinus.

Forge Disc : 00
00 is a Forge Disc featuring an elliptic shape. It is compatible with Disc Frames. It used to be a top tier component, due to its heavy weight and great OWD (Outward Weight Distribution).
Its weight creates high stamina potential, and it weight distribution makes it highly versatile. However, this Forge Disc is heavily outclassed by other options from the Superking, Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems.

Performance Tip : Revolve
Revolve is a stamina type Performance Tip. It features a small, sharp plastic tip surrounded by a free-spinning disc.
The sharp tip creates low friction, resulting in high stamina potential and increased burst resistance. The free-spinning ring prevents the combination from being destabilized, increasing defense potential.
While Revolve used to be a top tier Driver in stamina type combinations, it became outclassed by Performance Tips such as Bearing and Eternal, as well as other options released later in the Beyblade Burst generation, such as Bearing Drift, Drift etc.

Armor : 2
The number “2” means that the weight is distributed at two points. With this Armor, the weight is evenly distributed in two opposite points. This even weight distribution brings balance and good stamina to any combination.

How to improve Roar Fafnir 00 Revolve-2
Friendly Use
In a non-competitive environment, this stock combination can have decent results. As such, it does not necessarily need to be improved.
However, if available, the Longinus or Bahamut DB Cores can be used as upgrades to Fafnir. Then, replacing Revolve may significantly improve performances. If players wants to preserve a defense oriented identity, then Atomic’, Moment (or Metal Universe if combined with the Bahamut DB Core) can all be good options.
Additionally, for a more stamina oriented combo, Bearing’ can be a great choice.
Competitive Use
This Beyblade features only one top tier competitive component : the “2” armor.
“2” is a top tier armor designed to be used in stamina combinations, or in attack combinations featuring Blades such as Guilty.
Players lacking options can use both Roar and Fafnir to create a decent left-spin stamina type combination.
The 00 Forge Disc has to be replaced, any Forge Disc from the Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate systems will have better performances due to their heavier weight.
Final Thoughts on Roar Fafnir
Roar Fafnir 00 Revolve-2 is a decent stock combination, featuring decent stamina and defense potential. However, it doesn’t have enough top tier components to make it a must have for competitive players.
Since the Roar Blade can be difficult to get, this model can be a great choice for collectors.
